What's the talk about?

This will be a new format for the Teesside Skeptics-in-the-Pub meeting in that there will be a short presentation on the subject followed by a panel discussion.  After that we will have questions from the audience.

The subject will cover the history of psychedelics, it's effects on the brain and perceptions of reality, it's effects both short and long term on users, it's growth in the West, it's inclusion as a dangerous substance in many countries.  There will be discussion about the hallucinations and the glimpses it provides of "alternative realities" as well as its effects on the production of art and music.

The members of the panel will present a short brief of their knowledge and experiences of Psychedelics and how they perceive or measure its qualities and effects.  This will be followed by in depth discussions.
